Rich & Andrea

I was contacted some time ago now by Andrea about the possibility of being their wedding photographer, for a November wedding. As 'Rich', her H2B is a fireman,  there was naturally going to be an element of that in the wedding, as soon as that was mentioned I knew I needed to be their photographer. As an armed forces veteran myself, I love all things to do with service uniforms, especially weddings. Needless to say we were chosen and did a Pre-Wedding Shoot at the gorgeous location of Roche Abbey, Yorkshire (see other Blog).

The other week, 14th November 2015 myself and my beautiful second shooter and assistant Kala (actually my wife) had the absolute pleasure & privilege to photograph their day, from Bridal preparations & Groom preparations all the way through to the first dance and cutting the cake.

The day was amazing and although both Andrea and Rich were both understandably nervous and there was lots of rain, they didn't let it spoil their wedding and the beautiful couple and family & friends kept upbeat about it.

The Bride & Maids were all in make-up and hair mode when we arrived at their hotel room at the Best Western - The Lion Hotel in Worksop with their Hair & Make-up artists working very hard to get through all 8 of them, doing an amazing job. They were a pleasure to work with that morning and didn't feel put out by 2 strangers pointing camera's at them whilst they were getting ready.

It wasn't long before the champagne and gifts were flowing and the girls were getting into the spirit of the Bride's big day.

The ceremony was held at the beautiful St Anne's Church in Worksop which boasts an impressive pipe organ built by Gray & Davison dating back to 1852.

The Bride was running fashionably late but they were all finally ready for the big event, the rain unfortunately flowing by now.

All the nerves are gone and it's finally happening. The ceremony was beautiful and you could see the love they have for each other, it was very touching.

We both wish Rich & Andrea all the best for their amazing future together. I think it's safe to say it will be full of love & laughter.
